Echoes Awards Success!

Hebrides Ensemble, with its partner Drake Music Scotland, all under the direction of our Associate Artistic Director Ben Lunn, have been awarded a Scottish Award for New Music for our innovative project 'Echoes'!

This wonderful collaboration, that gave voice to disabled composers and performers, received the award for New Music Project at a prestigious ceremony held at Glasgow's Centre for Contemporary Arts.

The beautiful award now sits proudly on Ben Lunn's bookshelf!

Sadly, we didn't win for our other shortlisted nomination - that of Best New Music Recording of the works of Stuart MacRae. But congratulations to former Trustee Martin Suckling who did take home the coveted award.
