PLEASE NOTE: DUE TO UNFORESEEN CIRCUMSTANCES THERE HAS BEEN A CHANGE TO THE ADVERTISED PROGRAMME

Composers have always reached across the ages to find inspiration from their predecessors. Hebrides Ensemble presents a programme of music with roots in previous eras, as Bach and Schubert provide the catalyst for composers ranging from Mozart and Scotland’s own Tom David Wilson, to a composer that has become familiar to Scottish audiences in recent years, Jörg Widmann.

Presented by Horsecross Arts.

Programme:

JS Bach                                 Andante & Fugue in E minor
arr. WA Mozart

Franz Schubert                     Three Schuberts
arr. Tom David Wilson

Jörg Widmann                      Oktett
