Inside the music: William Conway on Arvo Pärt’s Passio

William Conway, Artistic Director of Hebrides Ensemble and conductor of our performance of Passio, takes us inside the music of Arvo Pärt’s Passio and explores some of the techniques used by Pärt to make this such a hypnotic, compelling work.

The full performance will be available here from Saturday 17 April at 7:30pm, for 30 days.

While we had initially hoped to present this magnificent work as a live tour, we are delighted to be able to share the performance with as many people as possible by making it available free of charge. If you would have purchased a ticket to attend in person, or if you’d just like to help us on our way as we return to a full programme of concerts and educational activity, we would be extraordinarily grateful if you would support us with a donation.
