ECAT’s Peter Nelson talks about bringing Birtwistle’s Pulse Shadows to a Scottish audience

Hebrides Ensemble brought Sir Harrison Birtwistle’s Pulse Shadows to a Scottish audience for the first time, with the support of ECAT (Edinburgh Contemporary Arts Trust) which was an organisation devoted to new music and finding new audiences for it. Peter Nelson from ECAT talks about this unique and challenging piece.
